Even a new 5 speed custom built to your specs (check out last months classic truck magazine) would be cheaper ($2500) than the gear vendors unit (3k+). Aren't there older car 3 speeds with O.D. available from the mid 50s? The 4 speed with granny will just give you 1 more lower gear, but no higher gears.
