The tires I was going to buy were Uniroyal Laredo LT 215-85R16. These are commonly used on dualies. The two Corvette owners I spoke with both independantly claimed they had no flat spotting after even weeks of the car sitting idle. As I wrote above maybe it is the rubber compound they now use. My coopers are nylon and the bias ply shown in the Coker catalog, for example say they are "poly" whatever that is.
