I just finished rewiring my 50 chevy staying with the 6 volt system. I used the wiring harness from chevy duty converted the front turn signals to double filament aftermarket kit from chevy duty,the problem that I ran into was brake lights and turn signals. I went to napa auto and purchased a dual filament 6 volt bulb and wiring socket insert so I have a turn signal that flashes and a brake light that works contained in the same housing if that makes sense,my turn signal would not override the brake light so thats the way I fixed the problem.
