i'm seriously thinking about getting a new wiring harness for the 50, 3/4 ton. i would like to convert the park lamps to turn indicators. i have two small lamps for turn indicators on the back and other than an extra wire to run to the heater fan, it will be the same as original. i already have a turn signal switch mounted to the steering column.
two questions.
one: what changes are required for the turn indicators/park lamps (dual filiment?)?
two: does anyone have an opinion regarding who carries the best quality cloth wrapped (like original) harness?
i would also like to see if anyone knows anything about the conversion kit for tail lamps to support the larger (21cp bulbs i believe) as well as any war stories from personal experience replacing a harness in an ad truck.
