We pulled the 46 out of the garage today to get a good look at it in the sun. I had gotten one fender sanded earlier this month and we had given it a shot of paint. The other fender underneith the headlight bullet has original paint on it.. We sure got a close match for not trying very hard. We placed the 46 3/4 and the 45 2 side by side and got pictures of them together. The 46 looks like a patchwork quilt, one blue fender, one white fender, one green headlight bullet, one blue headlight bullet, pblue paint around the window, white cab... almost looks like some form of art!
We hope to start tackling the rest of the body this week and at least get through the archeological layers of paint, and get a base prime on it to begin preparation for body work.
