I actually got the driver's door rust repair finished on my 64 "Ugly Truck." The latest projects are here. These include replacing the throttle pedal with one from my 74 organ donor truck (and its cable and bracket), fixing a leaking oil pressure gauge (and painting the entire dash as a result) and the rust repair. I'd post a picture of the results of that, but I just gave it a final coat of paint. (I hope.) There are a couple of pics of the initial stages of the rust repair on the web page. I'll add one of the completed door tomorrow.

Finally, I replaced the sending unit in the fuel tank. It's only been a year since I've had a fuel gauge...and it was one major league pleasure to see the needle come up to 3/4 tank (about where it should be) when I switched the ignition on. I hope I don't have to mess with that one any more.

I've also been doing a web page that lists a whole bunch of model cars (and a couple of trucks) for sale.

I'd hoped to spend my retirement building models in the winter and my "real" cars and trucks in the summer...but it doesn't seem to be working out that way. My health really limits what I can do. But I'm grateful to have gotten some stuff done.
