Well, I put the cables onto the replacement control in the same position they were with the old one. I lubed the cables pretty well and things seem to operate smoothly. It's sure nice to be able to shut the fan off now.

I thought I'd cleaned it up pretty good, but it sure doesn't look like it in the pic. No big deal, I guess. The whole interior's gonna change color sooner or later.
