I drove from Chelsea to Hubbard Lake, picked up our little travel trailer and then up to Mackinaw City, did the big truck show in St. Ignace and then back down to Chelsea with the trailer, cost me $300 in gas, I can't do that very often or my pension checks won't cover it! My daily/trailer puller is a Chevy 2500HD with the 6.0 gas, 4.10 gears, it is thirsty. I assumed the roads would require salt in your area. Where did you grow up in Michigan? My roots are in Ann Arbor.
