BTW - Not to try and detract by backtracking a bit, but did you/have you considered inverting your "wire chase" so the bundled cable runs on the underside of the column? Might look just a smidge less conspicuous if you know what I mean.
I considered it & I might just do that. It looked pretty clean with the wire going through the gap at the top of the column at the dash but it might not be a big deal to just go under the dash instead. Thanks for bringing it up. Sometimes I get so focused on going in one direction and forget to stand back and look at the big picture.
