You will get some Squirt out, it's just what happens. Just watch as you pack it in and quit when it starts coming apart. The cranks does need to be tight to the bearing, if not, when you tighten it down it will be to tight to turn. Small pieces in the oil won't kill the motor, it will go in the filter or get crushed by the oil pump gears.
