We have had one of the snowiest winters we’ve had since I retired here in the Adirondack’s in 2013. Not allot of snow in one storm, but smaller storms, lake effect snow and below normal temperatures causing allot of accumulation of snow and ice. At this point we have 2’ of compacted snow and snowbanks I can’t shovel the snow over. Thank God I bought a new bigger snow blower this January to throw the snow over the banks. It has been used at least two or three times a week! We had snow over this past weekend and snow again today. We’ve had several overnight temperatures of -14°and very few days above freezing.
I’m so over the snow, the frigid cold and toting firewood!
