We had to find some long pants and even a jacket this last month here in Crystal River Florida. It was something. My roommate from school is in Watertown NY and I try not to gloat too much. Now if I could just find the rest of the garage that blew away in the last hurricane (fortunately, not really, just kidding) I have started up again on the 49 Clamshell carryall. I have it off the frame and am at the reassembly stage. Welding jobs, and engine rebuild, trans and rear end are all together. I did change the gearing out on the rear end so that it will go faster than 45.
It has tube shocks on the front and I am having a heck of a time finding the right length and end attachments. All the parts stores want is a part number...They get annoyed when I take the old shock in and ask them to match it...cant figure out why.
Hope all of the bolters in the cold country are safe and well.
