About this time last year (actually much later: January 18), in the News Corner we had the Fibonachu's 1958, Frank (below), and directed folks to the Engine Shop. We suggested they fill up on carbs. We had just finished a bunch of
Tech Tips on carburetors and it was a great opportunity to promote those tips.
This year, most of the country is (or is about to) to get whammed with really awful weather. Some Bolters have already posted in the
Side Lots how the weather is affecting them, what their preps are, and a few tips on dealing with it all.
For those who don't identify with a particular group, or just want to post here, this is a good spot for it. And pictures! We always like pictures.
This time, the image we are using (first one at least), was posted by Wally / Montana, as part of a thread in GTT, "
Winter Work" that EdPruss started. That's a great picture.
Stovebolt HQ (now in NE AL) currently has temps at 52 but a wind advisory. It's coming in tonight from the West. We're fixin' to have a little snow ... maybe?
Keep warm.
