Pre '68 Dave 'Bolter P Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 Snohomish,WA,USA	I don’t think you have a problem. The balancer bottoms out against the cam drive gear, not the end of the crank. I think if you put the water pump in place you will see that the belt groove lines up when the balancer stops moving. See the USA in your vintage Chevrolet! My Blog
