Bought a 3/8 drive socket wrench from SnapOn in 1994. Broke last year. The dealer wanted my receipt before he would warranty it! Good luck finding that!
Once broke a Craftsman #3 Philips screwdriver. Took it to Sears and two minutes later walked out with a replacement. No questions asked. Can't do that anymore.
I do like my Craftsman tools and except for the screwdriver I have never broken any others.
