Good luck with your project. Back when I was teaching auto mechanics, I made it a point to stress the idea to my students that where brakes, lights, steering, and other "safety of operation" systems are concerned, the very best you can do is just barely "good enough". "I'll be happy to help you with your 'go fast' modifications- - - - -but we're going to make it steer and stop safely first!" At least some of them got the message!
