My mostly unmolested truck did not have a vacuum reservoir when I acquired it, does not appear to have had one from the factory. I swapped my single speed rear differential for a two speed which is vacuum operated, I added a vacuum tank to the right frame rail and plumbed into the line at a factory tee. Works very well.
