What's the number stamped on the carburetor body? A YF2100 fits on a 235 and would likely fit, but if it's a YF964, that would have a smaller mounting flange and fits on a 216.
Here's a couple of photos of a YF964 showing the model number and the mounting bolt spacing. Note that the gasket has elongated holes that fit either the 964 or 2100 carbs.
