I have the choke & carburetor functioning well now. The electric choke moves open pretty fast but it keeps running well.
Back to the bigger problem of burning oil. The exhaust smells & looks like oil if I rev up the motor or gun it. I won’t drive it again until I get the carpet & seat back in.
I certainly don’t feel like pulling the head off again but I may end up there😬
First I’m guessing I should pull the plugs just to see how they look. Then check the compressions?
If the compressions good & does not leak down it sounds like the head service was not done correct?
Anything else?
