I don’t have a shop manual in front of me. Does the front crank seal have to be placed in the timing cover from the INSIDE of the timing cover?
As ugly as all the grime is…I don’t see much in the way of an active, significant leak. I’d greatly prefer to avoid “while I’m at it” snowball effect, but I don’t want to be silly either.
