O K , so Powerage = Mark , would you have any type of an "up-grade" , for using & hooking up your Holley 390 carb ? ?
Then, for KDrown - how does your carb run on your truck . . . and, I'm asking because : we have our 390 carbs = mounted exactly "back-wards" from each other. = my car runs GREAT ; and, I'm getting 21.5 too 22 mpg . (I'm happy) .
Over on 'Steve's Nova Site' , when I did my install on my 'intake & carb up-grade' . . . I always have said : "That installing my OFFY intake & Holley Carb = was the very best up-grade , that I have done on my car" .

The "second best up-grade (on my car) . . "was installing my T 5 5speed tranny" .

Also, KDrown, look back on page two - - for those two BLOCKS , mounted on the throttle plate (on each end, where those 'addapter blocks are' - I also installed a 1/4" bolt into each side - - too keep those blocks from "sliding around" .
(just incase those small screws might come loose) .


Mark, one reason I'm asking is because over on SNS, we do get alot of questions about using these parts , on our L 6 engines (the 390 & throttle hook-up , questions .

ps = you may have noticed that my OFFY intake carb 'mounting plate' (that comes with the alumn intake) = only fits one way . (My mount plate , would not FIT , and mount down but only way (sideway's) . - just asking ?
Thus, I did buy another mounting plate = too mount "facing forward" .
