thrust bearing is second to last, near the flywheel, but not quite.
Jay Leno has an American LaFrance firetruck with their own V12. I have seen one before, very nice engine. Chain driven overhead cam. The engine was designed by Brush, who had his own brand of cars early on, before the teens.
I would not mind having one of those either, the V12 model "J" engine.
