Another option for pistons would be ones for a Rover 3.5L V8 engine. Silvolite part # 1718. (based on the GM 215 cubic inch Buick/Oldsmobile engine from the 1960s) They are the same bore size as a 216, 3.5 inches/89MM. with oversizes available that approach the diameter of the 235 pistons. They have a slightly shorter compression height and a small dished-out area in the piston dome for extra valve clearance.
