I had a very good example to follow. Back in the early 1950's, my father was building dirt track cars with flathead Ford V8's, with stroker crankshafts and big oversize pistons, even moving cylinder centerlines apart to avoid thin spots in the block where the exhaust passages ran, and fueling them with an alcohol/peroxide mixture. He was getting around 300 cubic inches from a 239 engine, and making V-12 Lincoln Zephyr distributors run on V8 engines. Like Hank Williams Jr. says- - - -"It's a Family Tradition!"
