None of these rods are finished, BTW- - - -the weld beads will be smoothed up with a die grinder, and all the pistons, rods, and other moving parts will be weight-matched down to an accuracy of 1/10 of a gram. (A dollar bill weighs one gram). That was standard procedure on all the race engines I built. An inline six is inherently dynamic balanced, so changing the weight of the rotating and reciprocating parts won't require dynamic balancing, as long as all the parts for each cylinder have the same weight.
