Hey Guys,
'49 truck re-wire / 12 volt.
one of the last things I need to do in the re-wire in installing the voltage reducer to use the stock gas gauge.
I'm using the light duty reducer that looks like a block of (asbestos?) with a wire on each end.
No issues soldering in, my question is mounting.
I'd figure to encase it in shrink wrap- that ok?
Or do I just protect the leads, & it doesn't matter what the body of the reducer touches?
