Another problem that didn't exist prior to this fiasco is a non working fuel gauge. It registers full as soon as the key is switched on. The sending unit is new 2 years ago. It isn't one of the ones that Jon G recommends. Perhaps it's now the right time to buy one. What would cause the gauge to read full regardless of the float level?
