The fuel gauge and instrument cluster has not been removed.
Green wire is mounted directly on top of sending unit no washers with screw.
Red signal wire sitting on top of insulated washer not touching anything but the screw post securely tight.
Tried running a ground to sending unit from negative side of battery SAME results.
