I'm having issues with my gas sending unit in my 1950 3100.
Gas sending unit is new. When testing the sending unit outside the tank and moving the float arm it works as it should. When installed the unit sometimes shows empty or a little pass empty.
Outside the tank instrument fuel gauge works as it should When manually moving float arm up and down.i noticed when I'm tightening the screws I get no reading at all. I'm totally confused on what could be the issue. Yes there is gas and I traced the wires for loose or frayed wires there are none. Any suggestions?
