I've probably got half a dozen or more "rebuildable" OEM fuel pumps stashed away, the kind that are assembled with screws, not crimped together. Has anyone thought about fabricating an adapter to run a more easily accessible and possibly more reliable mechanical pump on a stovebolt engine- - - -like maybe one for a small block V8? I think I'll add that project to the "one of these days" list. I'm already accumulating the raw materials and tooling to convert a stovebolt engine to run big block Chevy V8 main bearings.
