AlexB I think maybe that urge to go on the interstate kind of fuels this brake dilemma,tandem master cylinders are a help but a little hard to incorporate . Can't think hundreds of big bolts are still out there if the brakes aren't able to do the job. However it's a new problem when interstate speed mostly hinges on a speed of about 80 M.P.H. In the service manuel gearing speeds are listed at about 52 M.P.H.
