| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | Before attempting to turn an engine over, lube the valve guides with oil, tap each one to make sure valve is not stuck, otherwise bent pushrod might occur. Rubber hammer or 2 x 4 would suffice!
