Mine is a 47 art deco gmc and it has the 4 speed tranny that comes up between the 2 seats. The only difference between the tranny and a non-coe tranny that I can see is the tower where the shifter goes into the tranny is a good 6" taller then a normal trucks.
Ive not seen an art deco that had the shifter attached to the floor cover over the engine, Ive only seen that on the adv. des. trucks.
Thats kinda interesting... Im gonna go peek through all my gmc books and take a look.
