One comment: I probably would have used the entire outer panel on the first door you did, considering that the bottom edge was a bit rough, rather than just one end of it. But I didn't see first hand how much rust was on the inside. Hopefully you won't wind up with a pinhole rusting through on the part you didn't replace.
