You can buy 1/32 in 90 hardness. https://www.grainger.com/product/GRAINGER-APPROVED-Buna-N-Sheet-High-Strength-60DF25Doesn’t solve the temp rating or cost issue. Which are both enough to make it impractical. For $10 I might eventually give it a shot just to learn something.
