Would a Missouri 1951 YOM plate been different between car and truck, or was that year plate (and metal year tag) covering any/all vehicles??? headscratch

I tried to do a search but came up with nothing that clearly shows if there were different plates or not for cars and trucks for 1951.

May have not been able to pick out the tree because of the forest of info. not me
