Florida also allows YOM plates. The plate must not be a duplicate of what's currently in the system. The plate can be restored but must look original and match the colors for the year. It's not necessary to match the county or weight designation.
The plate must be sent or hand delivered to the DMV in Tallahassee. I hand delivered and walked out 30 minutes later with my plate and registration.
