Yes, the bowl has fuel I worked the throttle this morning while looking down the throat (engine off) and it gave healthy squirts.

I had other stuff I had to do today so I'll investigate further tomorrow with the engine running.

The advantage of the original glass bowl pump is that you can see the clean fuel with no contaminants at the pump.

I have no soft lines in the system. It's all steel with threaded fittings from stem to stern.
