I agree that there are many scary disk conversions out there and that poorly maintained vehicles can fail no matter how well engineered they are. I'm also sure that the stock brakes are fine under normal use. My concern is under panic conditions. Stock HP isn't an issue; when going downhill with a full load gravity will far outweigh the HP. Mine is destined to be a work truck, not a show truck and I want to be sure brakes are not an issue. The 3500HD setup similar to what Grigg has done is very attractive in my opinion.
