I seem to be doing that a lot, lately. Get a roll of whatever size I need. Put it through my tubing straightener, then proceed to bend, shape and flare. On my latest project, I've been using 3/16" and 3/8" stainless tubing. Harder to work with, but a little bit prettier. Actually having fun the whole time.
