I’ve been using SPI epoxy. They suggest epoxy first then filler. As much as I would like to sandblast, I live on a suburban Southern California cul de sac and the mess is just not appreciated my neighbors. Plannishing 10,000 welds at 9pm didn’t make me any new friends.
