This whole conversation really has me on the fence. I put new tires on my 54 3100 in January of 2016. They are bias white walls and cost $900 for the set of 4. I probably have less that 500 miles on them and I don't take it on the interstate. Original driveline and it does not like interstate speeds. I hate the thought of spending $1,000 on 4 new tires when I haven't wore out the ones on it but I get the safety concern with old tires. A lot to think about.
