A local truck buddy of mine got tired of several in our group making fun of his old, cracked rear mud tires on his all original 1967 Chevy 3/4 ton truck he bought at an estate sale 12 years ago. He ordered 2 new rear mud-grip tires online and finally found a tire shop that would install them on his split rims. The shop owner told him the old tires were manufactured in 1969. They still had tons of tread and he’d never had a flat or any other problems with them. He said the new tires did ride a little smoother.
I also don’t pour milk down the sink when it reaches the expiration date printed on the jug. I use the smell test. Just sayin’.
