Jon G - just one of many reasons I recommend the Carter W-1 for use in multiple-carburetor environments is that the power circuit is mechanical!!!

The position of the metering rod (with metering jet, a.k.a. power) is controlled by the position of the throttle shaft, not by vacuum. Thus one eliminates the headaches of winding special vacuum springs.
