Yes it is 1948, 3800. I’m not sure either Jon, never having changed one, but the open space between the top of the tank and the bed above is 10”. Is it possible to tip the sender as it is removed or does it have to come straight out. Seems like a lot of room. So is the reason for fuel tank draining and removal in the manual a safety concern, or is it a question of accessibility? Actually - I forgot, it’s a dump bed, so space available to remove a sender is virtually unlimited.
