So, I installed both clutches/disc on the fly wheel. Measuring from the end of the TB to the fly wheel, the new clutch is .49" shorter. The new clutch, I did notice the when tightening the clutch to the fly wheel, the finders do compress down, thus losing the .49". I will be looking for the old style, flat finger clutch. I have only seen them available from the classic truck vendors and not the local auto parts stores. They are more expensive and require mailing in a rebuildable core. Does anyone know where I can get one new Santa Clara, CA or perhaps have my old one rebuilt? Anyone have a suggestion for a truck vendor for the clutch?
