There are at least two different lengths of the collar that slides on the snout of the transmission input bearing retainer. The throwout bearing itself is pressed onto that sliding collar, so it would be possible to fabricate a longer bearing carrier to move the TB closer to the clutch fingers if you can't find a longer one somewhere. It would be a pretty simple operation for anyone with a lathe and a little machining knowledge.
