I believe I found the problem. The new TB looks to be similar in size with the old one. I measured the height of the old clutch body with the new clutch and there is about 1/2" difference meaning the new clutch is shorter. So, I assuming the TB is 1/2" closer to the fly wheel which will then pivot the fork that much forward too. I have to remove everything to measure properly but I think that is the issue.
The clutch I ordered from a kit (see previous post picture) from NAPA. It specifically said it fits my truck. I am definitely disappointed with NAPA as I went with them because they usually always had parts for my truck on the self. Now I have to remove the transmission for the third time and I'm an old guy:(
