I have been driving GM loyaly all my life and have seen so many being pulled home because of the tranny failed from early 80's up too 2001 pickups, I haven't much faith in any GM tranny with overdrive yet. I had an 87,94,95 pickups fail not even being worked hard.
I will take a TH400 any day of the week.
