There's only one worse choice for an inluine six in early-1960's stovebolts than a 230, and thsat would be the 194 used un the Chevy II and a few other compact cars. No matter what engine the truck was born with, running a 250 is a far better choice. Whomever did the swap to a 250 sometime in the past did you a huge favor!
